Artist Statement
Photography has always been my way of understanding the world around me.
Growing up traveling across the United States, I developed an early connection to the outdoors and the quiet details that often go unnoticed — changing light across landscapes, weather moving through the sky, fleeting expressions, and the feeling certain places leave behind long after you’ve left them. Over time, that connection evolved into a body of work centered around adventure, severe weather, travel, and the emotional relationship between people and the natural world.
my work is created through lived experience in the field. Whether documenting storms, remote landscapes, outdoor life, or the stillness found between destinations, I aim to create imagery that feels immersive, grounded, and emotionally honest. I’m drawn to environments that feel unpredictable and alive — places that remind us both of our smallness and our connection to something much larger than ourselves.
Through photography, I hope to encourage a deeper appreciation for the outdoors while creating visual stories that feel human, atmospheric, and real. Respect for both people and the environments I enter remains central to the way I approach every image.
At its core, my work is about connection — to nature, to memory, to movement, and to the moments that shape how we experience the world around us.
