Adventure + Documentary Photographer
About
She Shee is an American adventure and storm photographer and emerging documentary storyteller work documents weather, remote landscapes, and life shaped by the open road. Her imagery is grounded in firsthand field experience, where preparation, restraint, and respect for nature guide every frame.
Her approach to documentary photography is rooted in presence rather than spectacle. While moments of beauty and intensity are central to her work, she is equally drawn to the quieter realities that surround them—capturing images that reflect awareness, responsibility, and the human relationship with powerful environments.
This path developed through years of independent travel, storm documentation, and work in unpredictable conditions. As both a photographer and entrepreneur, she has built a self-sustaining creative practice that allows her to remain in the field while maintaining full creative control. She is the founder of the She Shee Collection, a field-inspired apparel and gear line influenced by life on the road and time spent in demanding outdoor environments.
Her work has been recognized for its authenticity and emotional weight, including feature coverage by Discovery Channel (Eye of the Storm, Season 2) for her documentation of the 2023 Clarksville tornado.
Beyond the field, she is a mother and business owner, and a partner with her husband in real estate investing—roles that inform her perspective on risk, responsibility, and long-term impact. These experiences shape a disciplined, grounded approach to storytelling rooted in lived experience rather than performance.
