Hi, I’m She Shee — a storm, adventure, and outdoor photographer most often found somewhere between a backroad, a trailhead, and an approaching storm.

What started as a simple love for photography slowly became a life built around documenting the outdoors as it truly feels: unpredictable skies, long drives, severe weather, quiet camp mornings, and the moments in between that often go unnoticed. Over time, photography became less about capturing places and more about preserving the feeling of being there.

Much of my work is created in the field under real conditions — whether that means documenting severe storms across Tennessee, hiking into remote landscapes, or spending nights camping beneath changing skies waiting for weather to move in. I’m drawn to environments that feel alive and unpredictable, the kind of places that remind us how small we are and how connected we become when we step outside our routines.

The mountains, the road trips before sunrise, the stillness before a storm, and the simplicity of outdoor life continue to shape not only my photography, but my perspective on life itself. Those experiences influence the way I approach storytelling: honestly, patiently, and with respect for the environments I enter.

Alongside documentary work, I collaborate with tourism boards, outdoor brands, editorial publications, and commercial campaigns to create authentic visual storytelling rooted in real experiences rather than staged moments. My work has been featured on Eye of the Storm for documentation of the 2023 Clarksville tornado, with ongoing projects continuing to expand across outdoor, travel, and weather storytelling.

This space is more than a portfolio to me. It’s where I share the stories, field experiences, road trips, gear, and quieter moments that come with building a life outdoors. Through photography, storytelling, and the She Shee Collection, I hope to encourage others — especially women — to explore farther, trust themselves outside, and experience nature more intentionally.

When I’m not out documenting storms or chasing light across the mountains, I’m usually somewhere outside with my family, planning the next trip, or finding inspiration somewhere between the weather forecasts and the open road.

Whether you’re here for the storms, the stories, the outdoors, or potential collaboration — I’m glad you found your way here.
